LEAD BAKER – Full-time TUESDAY to SATURDAY Seeking an ambitious and experiencedLead Bakerfor our new shop in Bella Vista. The right candidate will have a positive attitude and strong leadership skills. Pop’s Bun Shop is all about yeast-raised sweet and savory buns. We have a small menu which allows us to focus on quality and consistency. Looking for someone with experience making and baking enriched, yeast dough. Our lead baker will be responsible for mixing, dividing, shaping, and proofing all menu items, as well as baking and finishing the final product. Competitive Salary and paid time off Responsibilities/Requirements: Help maintain quality and consistency Mix dough correctly and weigh/measure accurately using scales. Understand and follow all recipes and instructions. Comfortable working with hot ovens Maintain efficient timelines and follow the production schedule Must be willing to listen to co-workers and work collaboratively with management Follow and comply with established procedures, including health and sanitation and adhere to safe work practices Qualifications Thorough understanding of baking techniques, ingredient functions and recipe scaling in the preparation of yeasted dough Excellent time management and fast and efficient completion of tasks Punctual and reliable Self-starter, able to work efficiently with and without direct supervision A true leader who is interested in growing with our company Must be extremely accurate in mixing, dividing, shaping, and proofing to ensure consistency and quality in daily production.
